What About the Men?
Yes, we know that often in hetero-weddings, the wedding attire tends to be focused on the bride and bridesmaids, but what about the men? Your wedding is an opportunity to show off some style when it comes to the male attire, and what’s great about a suit or tuxedo, is it is often a smaller investment than a wedding dress and you can wear it time and time again. That being said, spend the money, get a great suit that you feel amazing in, and get it tailored. You will thank me later.
So, what are some of our favorite suits and styles for the guys? We want the suit to avoid a business-y look, that means staying away from greys and navies in my opinion and moving towards a color that would never see at the office and definitely not at a car dealership.
Sand- a Spring Favorite
Looking for a color that complements the lighter shades of bridesmaids dresses for the spring wedding? Sand is the one. We especially love when the groom has just a little contract in the color of his suit!
Our Current Favorite- Green
But what is our current favorite color for men’s suit? It has to be green – it can be worn all year long, spring, summer, fall, winter. It’s elegant, it pops, it styles well with lighter colored dresses, or darker, and we have yet to find a shade that we truly do not like. A Timeless Classic- The Black Tux
You truly cannot go wrong with the black tuxedo. They are classy, they are timeless, they make everyone look like a bo$$ or a very handsome spy, or both. There are not too many opportunities to wear a full tuxedo out here on the casual Monterey Bay, so why not step it up for your wedding, make it a day that is unlike any other wear the black tuxedo? You will not regret it.
